The housing stock in Lexington is quite varied, ranging from charming historical homes to graciously appointed new construction. Homes and condominiums in Lexington are typically located in lovely residential neighborhoods. Single family homes are generally priced from $400,000 up to a high of $3,000,000 or more. A condominium located in an established association typically start around $289,000 and can range up to $1,000,000 or more. There is truly something for everyone in Lexington. Meriam Hill: Steps from Lexington Center, Meriam Hill is a neighborhood of picturesque homes which are a beautiful mix of Victorians, New Construction, Antique Colonials, and Cape style homes. Children who reside in the Meriam Hill section of town attend the brand new Fiske Elementary and the Diamond Middle Schools. Boston Magazine recently voted Meriam Street as one of Boston’s Best Places to Live.

Follen Hill: With its rolling hills, picture perfect neighborhoods and beautiful landscape, many Follen Hill homes are set on private lots, quiet streets, and range from 18th Century homes to New Construction.

Countryside: Countryside area homes are a mix of colonial and contemporary style and are located in close proximity to Routes 128/95, Woburn and the Burlington Mall. Children who reside in the Countryside neighborhood attend the brand new Harrington Elementary and Clarke Middle Schools.

Liberty Heights/East Lexington: The Liberty Heights neighborhood borders Arlington and is in easy commuting distance to Route 2 and Cambridge. East Lexington is ideal for residents who want quick access to the Minuteman Bike Path, The Great Meadows (conservation area), Trader Joe’s, Starbucks, and all the shopping and dining that Arlington, Cambridge and Boston have to offer.

The Manor: Known for its “neighborhood feel,” residents of the Manor area of town enjoy the friendly atmosphere, and have quick access to Route 128/95, Bedford, and the Hanscom Air Force Base. Children who reside in the Manor section of town attend the Estabrook Elementary and Diamond Middle Schools.

Five Fields: This neighborhood is known for its homes built by The Architects Collaborative under Walter Gropius. This community owns acres of common land and ponds, and offers a neighborhood pool and walking trails.

Pheasant Brook Estates: Gracious homes on large lots make Pheasant Brook Estates one of Lexington’s most popular neighborhoods. Children who reside in the Pheasant Brook Estates neighborhood attend the brand new Harrington Elementary and Clarke Middle Schools.

Moon Hill: Residential area designed by The Architects Collaborative.

Saddle Club Estates: Located less then one mile from Lexington Center and steps to the brand new Fiske Elementary and Diamond Middle Schools, this desirable neighboorhood consists of homes on large lots and quick access to Route 128/95 in Burlington.

Turning Mill: Contemporary-style homes located on private wooded lots. This neighborhood offers a community pool, is near conservation lands and walking trails. 

A Sampling of Condominiums in Lexington

Emerson Gardens:  2 bedroom brick garden or townhouse-style homes.  The condo fee includes heat, hot water, and an association pool.  Children who reside in Emerson Gardens are within short walking distance of the new Harrington Elementary School. 

Minuteman Village:  Located off Concord Ave., and close to Waltham and Route 128,  the complex consists of garden and townhouse-style homes, some with attached garages.

Fiske Common: Classic Colonial style homes located on 16 acres in the Meriam Hill section of Lexington. Walking/jogging trails and Willards Woods conservation land are within a short distance to Fiske Common. 

East Village:  Charming Colonial style homes set back off of Massachusetts Avenue and located within steps to the Minuteman bike path.

Potter Pond: Quiet and desirable Potter Pond condominiums are located in a beautiful setting overlooking a pond and conservation lands.
